Many thanks to Adam Woodworth and Steve Vaughan who were our guest speakers. (Adam is standing and Steve is just to the left of center in the picture above)The first night’s presentation was very successful in spite of the wind that blew down the projector screen and snapped the vertical support pole! About twenty people were in attendance, most of which came as invited guests of Adam Woodworth. The second night the wind was still blowing so we held the meeting in our RV and as can be seen in the photo above our numbers were few.The wild flowers were in full bloom and a few of us did manage to do a field trip to Picacho Peak to photograph them. The images below were taken with my cellphone while in the planning stages for my presentation at Escapade.
The Android cellphone seminar which I presented was attended by an estimated 70 people. For those of you who use an Android phone the presentation I made may be of value to you. It includes a complete tutorial for the “A Better Camera” app and an overview of creating frames for digital images and adding text to images. You can scroll through the entire presentation by viewing or downloading the PDF file here. The file also includes links to video tutorials for some of features discussed in the presentation.

The two minute video at the right gives an idea of the capabilities of “A Better Camera”app. All images were taken with it.It also shows images with digital frames and text that were added with specialized apps discussed in the PDF tutorial above.
